Thanks for the video it was very informative. My question is I would like to run my Sum 4 with a variable speed water pump, but the water pressure switch is triggering a “low flow” error and won’t engage the heat. I’m thinking of replacing it by a digital programmable water pressure switch which would allow me to program a pressure range for it to close and engage the heat. Obviously it can’t be too low ‘cause I don’t it to overheat, but what do you think? Or do you have any suggestions?

I Loved how you Glossed right over putting the switch back in... You DIY video guys never show the fiddling, fumbling and swearing part.. Yeah this is an old video but, I'm dealing with a new issue on a unity light and looking for a smoother way to get the switch back in... The fiddling,fumbling and swearing isn't working.

Having a no start issue and diagnostic read shows miscommunication with ECM, no gas feed. Changed all sensors and fuel related parts, still not starting but it fires right up when starter fluid sprayed directly into throttle body. ECM replaced at Town and Country's suggestion (wasn't the issue) but had to have keys reprogrammed. Keyless entry on door that I've never utilized because I purchased second hand and never had the numbers, though I do use the key fob so rarely have I used the key to open the door. ECM seems to think vehicle is being stolen so the security system has disabled starting ability. I think it is confused. I know I am! I was just about to deactivate the security system so it will start, when I saw this video. I'm going to retrieve the key pad numbers first and try unlocking the doors to see if that makes a difference. Great Video!

I have a TTI heater with the exact same control panel and electric components like the summit in the video. I get the FLO code although there is flow and there's no obstruction. I changed the flow switch and is still have the FLO code. I tested the switch with a meter by turning on and off the pump and the switch it works. I even shorted the terminals where the switch goes, and I still get the alarm. Any ideas???

Genius advice. Replaced cracked Hayward valve with new. Major leak blowing out under clamp. Took off and put back 3 times with 2 different O rings. Couldn't stop problem until I found your video. Followed steps...problem gone, no leak at all.

Just finished a rebuild on one of these, but as it runs it's choking out. Primer bulb is slow to react when pushed. Nly runs okay at low throttle, crank it up and it chokes out. Any.ideas?

Better ways Use a pan of hot water- no torch Substitute a hose ferrule - no clamp Most likely brass, not aluminum

Hey .. Good video. I know most of it from taking apart my own Ariens XT-6, but .. even after a full carb replacement, this machine runs for about a minute, then , stops quickly. Won't start .. until cooled down. After about 3 minutes , it starts again easily.. THEN , a minute later , dead again. As mentioned, full carb, spark plug, air filter replacement..Problem still exists .. ANYTHING ????? Thank you.

I see fuel spraying igniter sparking Blower blowing , but no fire , there is two adjustment crews on the back of the pump , tell me the setting on them.

So mine primes fine, ones it fires up, it dies right away. If I keep priming it while it’s running, it stays running. Any ideas why it won’t run after it’s primed?

The grey v thing will break off. Careful fooling with it. Also, the little tab on the spring should push the little button in the v thing all the way in.

i had a prime problem replaced the bulb it still would not prime turns out air could not get through because the manufacter left a rubber piece inside that would not let air go through probably happens one out of 1000 but ran me crazy trying to figure it out
